About Us
When Mr Panayiotis Motis opened his car workshop in 1986 he had one thing in mind: to deliver the best car service and maintenance in Cyprus with exceptional quality and attention to detail.
This passion was transferred to his son Yiannis Motis who following his father’s steps and with close guidance he became committed in moving the car inspection/maintenance/improvement to new levels. After finishing his Automobile Engineering studies in Chelsea Northbook Collage in UK and attending a large variety of additional courses in the Automobile Industry he made his childhood dream come true, to finally have the chance to work and learn the how-to on Porsche cars.
After some months working full time on Porsche official dealer it was time to come back in home country and handle the family business which is renamed. The new name is JP MOTIS MOTORSPORT LIMITED, established in 1996.

We started deeply getting involved with engine and in general car tuning area in 1998 when our company started close business with big tuning companies in Japan and USA. Those years were a big step forward for our company because our company’s owner Yiannis Motis got trained with personal guidance from the world known tuning company TOP FUEL Mie in Japan on purely car tuning industry methods, knowledge, and tuning know how area.
After the year 2000 our big achievements and huge reputation of top quality service got us into the Greece tuning market were after hard work and full commitment on deliver the best to our customers, brought JP MOTIS MOTORSPORT to be one of the most well known names in the motor industry in Cyprus and Greece.
We became the first in house build Cyprus and Greece for most powerful Supra and Skyline tuned cars making over 1000 HP engines for more than a decade. It was the step that brought our company to a different level of customer 100% satisfaction and pride of been owners of high spec tuned car created from our company. Records in motorsport racing started coming more and more as we were be able to achieve great results due to powerful and most important reliable tuned cars.
Most important although our company commitment on older and latest technology cars service and car maintenance was always there and always will be so we were always keeping up to date so we could provide the best service to our huge variety of customers from young to older age people.
Through the next years our engine ecu tuning and re-program sector was one of the most dominated in our company market and that was done from our company owner Yiannis Motis where he was and still is in charge in detail of every customer custom ecu tuning. His knowledge and skills were on demand from various street and race car owners as the results of each project were more than expected.
In 2014 up to present a new era came where our knowledge and skills brought us to undertake tuning race cars for UK motorsport series as also race support in Europe races. Our reputation still goes outside Cyprus where since 2015 we are asked from Israel car enthusiasts to provide them our high level knowledge in car ecu tuning.
And last achievement comes in 2017 were after our prove of tuning skills in Turkey tuning cars area corporates we are asked from Fiat/Chrysler group to work together close with their R&D motorsport department for developing the oem ecu software for their Egean rally car series.
Through the years is a nice journey that keeps going and that is entirely due to our full commitment as a group of dedicated mechanics/tuners in our company as also with a network of car era associates to do one simple thing, deliver the optimum at the reasonable price to achieve the best customer satisfaction.
